Presently, the PEI Rape & Sexual Crisis Centre provides these important services:

• A counselling service for individuals and therapy groups for survivors of childhood sexual abuse and sexual assault
• Education to the public about sexual violence (speakers, literature, workshops)
• A toll free 24 hour crisis and support line. Currently the line is staffed by volunteers and staff
• Advocacy and public action on issues regarding violence against women and children. Participation with other groups in the community to advocate for survivors and to promote social change.

Since 1990, the Centre has been receiving funding from the PEI government. This funding was increased in 1995 and became core funding in 1999.

The Centre must also continue to rely on fundraising and donations. Over the years, several fundraising events have been organized. The major yearly fundraiser is the Golf Against Assault tournament.
